DESCRIPTION:Welcome Burners and those who are burner curious to Playa North – Toronto’s annual Burning Man Decompression event! \n“A decompression party\, decom or decomp is a local reunion for Burning Man participants to help ease themselves back into everyday society after the “big event”…The events provide an opportunity to participants to share feelings\, art\, performances and memories. As awareness of Burning Man has spread around the world\, Decompression events have evolved to welcome newcomers to Burner culture.” \nWhat to Expect:  ART\, Live music\, Circus Acts\, DJs\, Burlesque\, bondage\, theme camps and gifts of food\, laughter\, hugs\, and friendship – GIFT BAR!  (What’s that?  That’s when you bring a contribution for the bar to the event then share in the collective liquid wealth.) \nBurning Man Culture is built on 10 Principals: Radical Inclusion\, Gifting\, Decommodification\, Radical Self-Reliance\, Radical Self-Expression\, Communal Effort\, Civic Responsibility\, Leave-No-Trace\, Participation\, and Immediacy.  How will you demonstrate these values at your Decomp?  Take a moment to consider how you can spend a short time contributing to the success of this event and gifting you time\, attention and talents to a volunteer role or contributing project.  If you need some help figuring out where you would best fit – please contact the Volunteer Lead Oren Jalon. \nAll other questions or inquiries can be directed to Communications Lead:  Lindsay Millard \nPrices: \n$25 / in advance (+$5 for roundtrip shuttle bus from downtown)*\n$30 / at the door \n* online ticketing and credit card processing fees are added on top of the ticket price. \nOnline tickets available here: https://www.picatic.com/TODecomp2015 \n**As with years past – We will be collecting food donations at the door on behalf of the food bank.
