December 2012 marked the conclusion of a b’ak’tun — a time period in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. The last day does not mean the arrival of any calamity; instead, it implies a whole new awareness and transition towards a new civilization.

It is almost here!

‘Beyond B’ak’tun’ is an officially sanctioned Burning Man event and the annual outreach event for the Burner community in Ontario. It is our chance to share our principals: Radical Inclusion – Gifting – Decommodification – Radical Self-reliance – Radical Self-expression – Communal Effort – Civic Responsibility – Leaving No Trace – Participation – Immediacy
